Re: Emirates Orders

330's would do all those as well. Not sure if the 330 order is no longer . Regardless STC has stated they need something smaller but not single isles. Leave that to FZ and their more involved relationship.

Re: Blue Panorama flight 1504, right or wrong decision?

For some it might be worth reading the definition of V1 including " pilot reaction time " . BFL has margins but with thrust related problems the captain has to ensure enough to reach VR and make the screen height.

380 is not dead yet and EK will need them , not all , in the future . Maybe back to the 55 plan , which I always thought was the perfect fit . Then egos got involved ,nuf said !

Still planning on the first 330 nov /dec 2020 +5/6 first couple months of 2021 , possible delay due to engine contract . Plan is in place for 777x sim to replace the oldest 777 sim , no mention yet of 330 neo sim .

Current 380 s @ + 120 reducing to 100 including remaining orders., @40 being "parted out" . Remaining 100 around for some time as there is a market need . Think what you want but watch what reading happens .

Re: Emirates renegotiating 777X order

380 not being replaced by anything as it sits now . 777x repealing 777s . 380 slight reduction, which is good for business, 330/350 fill in the gaps . Planned 380 usage unti lat 2030s according to TC . ME market changing rapidly, don't expect major expansion.

More or less a 1 to 1 replacement. The order also has flexibility built into it. At present 777 fleet growth is finished, actually decreasing .

Don't forget EK plan to operate the 380 well into 2030's, it's not going away any time soon . I believe the 350's are firm. 150-77x firm? Latest is the 339 will arrive before 77x. 339 doing FZ routes ? Never heard that one . Gotta love the self proclaimed experts .
