Re: Air Canada Rouge 767 stuck in HNL

I was supposed to be on that flight to Vancouver. They announced that the engine was damaged by a bird strike and had to cancel the flight. They were flying in mechanics from or via Seattle the next day. When I came back from Vancouver yesterday the plane was still parked at HNL.

Re: Update on Hawaiian Airlines new livery?

Saw the Boeing 717 with the new livery the other week while at Hickam Beach. The new design IMO doesn't blend properly with the engine cowling of the 717. The livery looks better on the A330. Prefer the old livery for the 717.

Re: Update on Hawaiian Airlines new livery?

Can't find any updates on my usual sources so we will have to wait until tomorrow. Hoping it's not a drastic change as I like the current livery. I am wondering if the leaked new livery might be a decoy to throw us off.

Re: Air Canada Rouge - 3 years in the air

I flew HNL-YVR-HNL earlier this year. The 767s are okay. Seats are not the most comfortable. Entertainment system was easy to figure out but it helps to plan/research how to access the system before your flight.

Re: A question about the Boeing 737

Might have to do with 707 having 2 more engines and more fuel capacity?
