The 787's backlog is less than 200 frames now. Obviously Boeing has other concerns at the moment but even with the anticipated slowdown that's less than 2 years' worth of production. Who operated A343 to SEA?


SAS did for a long time from CPH. AF, LH, and CI did at various times as well. Probably my favorite airplane that I've never had the chance to fly on.

Allegiant seems to be testing out MEM as a destination city with a few routes not unlike they started out with at BNA. I'm really amazed at some of the fares from MEM, I priced out a Tue to Tue to Mia in June and 199 R/T popped up for Delta with quick connections at ATL and AA's nonstop was 309. Allegiant adds new seasonal routes to/from CVG/PIT/PBI and the most odd ball thing I think I've ever seen, DSM. Considering that Allegaint started BOS this time around, DSM over BOS is wacky at best. How Boeing manages to get this project going while dealing with still-increasing MAX fallout will be very interesting. Who knows how big a hole they'll have dug by the time this is all over. If they overcome all this and the NMA is successful, it will be an incredible turnaround.

AA's seasonal service to LAX started this morning, I'll be interested to see the load factor numbers. Hopefully they're good enough for them to consider making it year-round, the more west coast options the better.

I saw pics of the plane just after the tornado and from the hanger later and that was one messed up plane! Number 1 engine cowling was a mess and and various dings and nicks on pylon and wing and bad damage on side of aircraft about where emergency exits are overwing on pax birds. Are there any pic...

Wow, DL's drawdown of MD-88s is really starting to make itself known. Today all the Delta ATL flights are MD-90, A320 and A321.

After watching the all these sessions there's only one reasonable conclusion: Big Orange done messed up and he's gotta go, now. Hopefully he resigns before we have to go through the whole process because it's about to get a lot uglier.
