Re: Your Classic 747 Flight Log

Flew an NW 742 DTW-NRT back in about 2005. It was in economy, and it was awful. An equipment change put us right in middle of the lovely 4 of the 3-4-3. Otherwise flew a BA 744 BOS-LHR summer 2014 and MIA-LHR summer 2016.

Re: Airports with Light rail/metro and heavy rail connections

CDG. The TGV pulls up right up to the airport. Not to mention the RER connections.

As a Boston resident, I can certainly attest to the fanaticism of the town's sports fans. Big Papi, and especially Tom Brady, are essentially gods.

Re: AA continues to struggle with operational reliability with 777

Makes me laugh. Mid-July of this past summer, I was on my way to my grandmother's funeral MIA-CDG. Just when I had a "can things get any worse" thought, the pilots came over the PA to announce that the plane (AA 77E) had a navigational instrument issue. Took two hours for them to resolve it.

I like it. It reminds me of the classic BA Landor livery.

Bingo! My thoughts exactly. Landor was one of my favorite liveries of all time. It had a very Saville-Row look, if you ask me.

Re: Most underrated airline?

I would have to vote for Tam. Flew them from MIA-MAO circa 2008. I was in Y for the roughly six-hour flight on a 767-300ER. The seats were old, but my gosh, they were comfortable as can be. The departure was early in the morning, and I slept nearly the entire flight. I recall the breakfast and servi...
