I think Stelios is correct. Unless it is cheaper to take the new A32X's and retire their older ones, they should cancel the order now. Why would you take delivery of lots of new planes when you already have probably 100 excess jets? EasyJet is a ULCC, almost all of their customers are discretionary...

No information but my ‘instinct’ is that the 4 for British, 2 for KLM and 1 for United are firm , whilst the other 12 are all to some extent doubtful. Waiting on firing order updates !

The gap will be largely filled by freighters but Boeing will most likely need to slow production further.

The press release makes it clear that it is 15 firm orders ( 11 x -10 and 4 x -9 ) plus 5 options for the -9. Nice business for Boeing.

I believe that L/Ns 1639, 1641 and 1643 have been delivered so the only -300ER in the firing order is 1648, the last for United.

The total of 20 is for the 777-300ER only so excludes the Azerbaijan frame. The last delivery for CZ came out of the Unidentified total.

IAG have had plans for expansion of the LEVEL widebody fleet but were looking at the 787 for this. There acquisition of Air Europa will probably cause a rethink. If they expand LEVEL with Airbus widebodies then they have choices other than new build A330-200s.

I agree it is looking clearer now. Looks like MSN 1951 will be the last A330-300 built. Also looks like no more A330-200s will be built for airlines, just MRTTs from now on.
