https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/ I've been following the UA fleet tracker for quite some time...very interesting to follow the progress as United inches toward a single, updated identity. There's a vast amount of detail captured, but there are a few questions that I'm wondering if any...Jump to post
iahcsr: I usually use FR24, and this is the second time the UA N number was used for the GYR ferry, then changed to the HA N number. Wierd. Interestingly, UA has actually registered N588HA and N592HA as United-owned tail numbers. They also still have holds on N686UA and N684UA. I suspect this is so...Jump to post
78J N17002 Has been on the CHS flight line for almost a month and as yet no B1 (presume it’s been painted at least). Given delivery is not planned for another three months B must not be in any rush to get it ready. If it’s indeed painted I’m surprised no images are to be seen on line. That aircraft...Jump to post
I agree it's sad to see UA adding CR2s... Such a miserable aircraft! The ER4s are way better. Does anyone know how long the ER3s and DH2s will be sticking around? I thought the ER3s were going to be dumped long ago. The E35s will be leaving. 2 in exit prep now. I'd expect all 5 to be gone this Wint...Jump to post

They are all 319s from China Southern. There were to be some from Spirit but that fell through. 8 so far including one in paint. 5 more expected to arrive in 2017 and 12 more in 2018. Besides the 11 TZ 753s bought by CO and 4 Copa 73G believe all other airaft in sUA and sCO fleet were purchased/lea...Jump to post
There have been a number of ER4 and CR7 retirements at UAX yet it seems like more CR2's are being brought on board with the addition of ZW's CR2s. Whats the reasoning behind retiring the CR7s from the UAX fleet during at time when the US3 is upgauging? Additionally, why are ER4s being retired and C...Jump to post
Does "Cape Air does not have a CPA" mean the ATRs in Guam are at-risk flying? Yeah the Cape Air flying is at-risk. The risk is quite low as those flights are vital links in that region. Regarding CommutAir, yes the plan is to transition to all-ERJ fleet. And this plan is being pushed up. ...Jump to post
United Announced DEN-LHR with a 788 for March 24 through October 26, 2018. Anyone have a clue where the slot comes from? I looked at next July and the DEN flight is loaded and there is no change posted on any other LHR alights. http://newsroom.united.com/2017-07-26-Mile-High-City-Receives-Royal-Tre...Jump to post
Does anyone know if United is planning modifications to the 737-800W fleet this fall? I have noticed on the seat maps that there are just two rows of first class and the removal of all onboard entertainment to be replaced with United Inflight entertainment via wifi? That is the UA narrow body place...Jump to post
The 3-class 763s have already started Mod and will enter service in the fall. The next fleet for Polaris seats will be the sUA 3-class 772s, followed by sCO 2-class 772s. As far as I know the 2-class 763s are not scheduled for Polaris mod at all. After the 3-class 763 and 772 are completed the next ...Jump to post
Hello! Perhaps this info is somewhere in here, but have any 737's gotten the new First Class seat yet, and if so how many, and which ones? Have they started with a particular 737 model or is it following maint checks etc? Also, how about any 757's in a domestic, non-transcontinental configuration (...Jump to post
With the end of the quarter UA has updated its internal fleet plan for the rest of the year. Mainline plans are unchanged, however there are some changes to the UAX fleets.... E7W- expect 33 deliveries by year end (down by 2) CR7- expect 14 retirements (2 less than expected) E145- expect 24 retireme...Jump to post
I can 100% state that the 4 ex-Copa 73Gs were delivered/inducted with the standard seats and were slimlined along with in-seat power installation and new F seats over the past few weeks. UA.com still not updated but all 4 ex-Copa birds also have power in F/E+.Jump to post

38 E170s and 63 CR7s At this point, do all CR7s have signature seats and all E70s have generic grey seats? Generic grey is the E70 final cabin fitting, right? Correct, unless they later try a re-fitted interior, which I'd doubt. And yes there are a couple of the ex-AA E170s in Republic house livery...Jump to post
Could they add additional E175s by replacing CRJ7s? Or does the scope specifically delineate by type rather than by seat count? Aircraft types are not specifically called out for the UAX fleet allocation portions of the contract. The contract allows 255 70- or 76-seat aircraft and, within that, 153...Jump to post

Flew on a partially reconfigured 738 yesterday. Had Directv, but all new seats in coach, and my first time using the space saving lavs in the rear, in front of the galley. Are those leather Y seats in the sky now? Or are they new? The only thing I have seen that's new are the Airbus Y seats in grey, but they are supposed to be going right? It is so frustrating to see these 2-class birds leave the fleet when there are still so many 1-class 50-seaters still flying. Are these CR7s no longer wanted/needed by UA or is this a condition of the ALPA contract wording that limits the number and size of the regional aircraft flying? As mentione...Jump to post
I don't get that, why not wait until Polaris comes on line in just a few months and then bring all the wide bodies up to Polaris? Is UA bent on always keeping the previous product generation around in a sub fleet of ghetto birds to save money / recycle seats? The 19 772As will not be getting Polari...Jump to post
My take is that the conversions of existing aircraft is proceeding by need. The 3-class 763s have already been being converted to 2-class, so the remaining ones that haven't yet been converted will just get Polaris instead. I think the next most "urgent" conversions are the 772s, which nee...Jump to post
