TGU is closed to all jet traffic since the opening of the new airport at Comayagua, XPL/ MHSC. So I don't think that counts any more.

Another reason is that their LGW 777s are much more dense with a smaller Club cabin and 10-abreast Y-cabin. Probably more appropriate for a largely VFR traffic to/ from ISB.

Surely, if they were considering pulling out altogether because of country-related problems, they'd be closing ABV too, and not just LOS?

The frequency reductions to LOS make sense given oil prices and all the other problems reported up-thread.
