Re: LAX- Dash 8 and United 737 incident

Revenge of the Horizon Q400! Eh, barrel roll or it didn't happen Is that the barrel roll plane? I hate to be the “too soon” guy, but good lord. It hasn’t even been a week and it ended with the death of a person with a mental illness yet people are already cracking jokes. Have a shred of decency... ...

Re: Fatal Incident Where Plane Returned to Service

One would think that if an accident involved fatalities, the airline would remove that aircraft from service out of respect for the victims and their families That makes no sense, take a train collision at a grade crossing with a car. If someone unfortunately passes from that they aren't going to r...

Re: N772SW Heading to VCV

Given today’s news media / social media trend with crucifying airlines over everything, I think they are taking the cautious road. They don’t need a headline the likes of “Southwest returns killer aircraft to skies less than 2 months after tragic accident”. Let people forget about it for a few mont...

Re: N772SW Heading to VCV

http://avherald.com/h?article=4b7725fb&opt=0 -that incident-. The airframe damage does not look bad enuf to scrap the bird. Maybe they just want to wait in hopes that noone will identify the aircraft as the one where a lady died. Probably have it sit out a few months then come back with a diffe...

Re: Southwest not having a good spring

Could all be a coincidence but interesting to note the pattern. What a coincidence. They were all Southwest planes and they were all 737s! Why not any new builds? Why not any AirTran frames? Why not any frame they picked up from any other airline? Hmmm... Well, According to Planespotters.net, the o...

Re: X Plane VS Flight Simulator X

Do they actually have the accurate FMC for a Boeing 747, or is it just a generic one with generic features? It's a generic one with the "PLAN SEGMENT 0#" features Hmm, that's a shame. I guess it takes time and a lot of money to do a proper one. Apart from that, there are other features co...

Re: X Plane VS Flight Simulator X

X Plane's default aircraft do look payware quality, however, they do have their flaws, (Such as the fact that only the APU Bleed on the default XP 747 can be used and therefore must stay on) Do they actually have the accurate FMC for a Boeing 747, or is it just a generic one with generic features? ...

I have both sims on my laptop, but can't choose which one. Which is why this is here. I want to have the opinions of fellow Airliners.net users.
