According to planespotters.net the 6 A346 are in storage at UTP and 3 of the 4 A345 are stored at DMK . The other A345 (HS-TLC) is now registered to the Royal Thai Airforce as HS-TYV and is in regular use as a VIP plane.

Only done one trip on a 747 - AMS - BKK on a KLM 747-400M in 2004 and I wasn't impressed with those flights so haven't flown with KLM or on a 747 since... From a passenger point of view I much prefer flying on an A380.

As an aside, the technology does exist to capture CO2 from the atmoshere and use renewable energy to do so.
