This commercial was filmed entirely at FLL (mostly in the A concourse). Gate A6 handles jetBlue arrivals from Cancun and Cuba. A7 is a common use gate. You are looking at A6 in the shot. I don't know why they didn't wait to film this shot...should be a continuity department thing.

one positive...it looks like BDL-PIT could still be successful. Don't know why DL hasn't jumped in there like they did to CLE-BDL. DL only added that back in 2014 because of the CO hub closure at CLE The route didn't come organically and BDL-PIT was an old US route...it's been operated in some way ...

I think one thing to remember here is this is cargo to Cuba and not even HAV. They cite customs issues. It makes sense. What cargo is flying US-Cuba and vice versa right now anyway? Then congress will just pass an amendment to the legislation to force Airlines to allow changes. This is a product of Airlines own greed. h I am not sure why they are not cutting both fll and mco entirely. They are completely uncometitive on both routes and are bleeding money. Do they think going down to once daily will actually make it more viable? That's what is so frustrating. WN is my preferred airline...I can't stand B6. However...

Hey all. Sitting here at BDL. Just a beautiful day across the east coast. Noticed a scheduled flight to BOS, wN1709 on FlightAware. They look like they tried to land in BOS but diverted to BDL after and now are getting a new a/c to continue. Anyone know what happened?
