Oh baby. This on top of their big announcement last week. Could only expect AA and DL to respond accordingly. It seems like business travel was stressed in the message, so I wonder if it's related to more business-oriented routes. New connections to SIN, LHR, or FRA? I don’t remember DL or AA “resp...Jump to post

Sup ! I dont know how it will look like when you use a uploading size because your current size is original size I believe, and you should judge it from our angle which is checking your pic in uploading size since we can't access your original pic. IMO, the pic is also underexposed and soft. There'...Jump to post
Happy Friday everyone. I am an avid user of flight simulators, and I was wondering if anyone could provide me some clarity on Heathrow departure procedures to help make my experience more realistic. When I program the SID into my FMC, there are always altitude ceilings of 6000 feet for a handful of ...Jump to post

I very likely flew a US 762 from CLT-SJU in the early 2000s, but I can't verify the flight or type. So the shortest widebody route I can verify is the 3,539nm PHL-LHR route on BA's 747.
Longest narrowbody is I believe AGP-JFK on the DL 752.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe most airlines' SOP requires the aircraft to be in landing configuration at the outer marker of the ILS (4-7nm out). This will probably change at unique approaches such as Tegucigalpa or other RNAV approaches where there is no ILS marker. In...Jump to post

It appears Icelandair has slated itself towards the 737 Max as its replacement for medium-haul routes. I'm not sure of a specific target retirement year for the 757s and 767s but in the immediate future Icelandair continues to utilize them quite well. For their further stations that are on the edge ...Jump to post
Delta starts next summer 5x daily BWI—BOS Wow, didn't know there was that much of a market.. WN had made significant cuts on BWI-BOS nonstop service due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with WN currently operating 6x daily nonstops to BWI from BOS (compared to the 9x-10x daily nonstops that WN was operati...Jump to post

Frontier has added BWI-CUN starting Dec. 17. They seem to be having success at BWI. Will go head-to-head with NK and WN on that route.Jump to post
For starters, I really like these shots, the Cayman Airways shots in particular, and I certainly think it's worth another go at editing. I can certainly see the overexposure on the first one (not the low contrast, though) and I think some tools have an option to just dim the highlights and maybe dar...Jump to post
Yeah this has devolved into a topic on masking as if that's the only potential cause (I bear some responsibility). If you want to continue that, message me or let's head to non-aviation. Other possible causes of an increase in violent incidents: Is there a pattern that these are happening at any par...Jump to post

Probably not, although I could be wrong. By the end of cruise, if the calculations have been done properly, the aircraft should be within a degree or two of flying perfectly level. Unless the descent is unusually gradual, initial descent will be nose-down. You'll probably start to see a nose-high at...Jump to post
First, I think the composition on this photo is very nice. It may appear low-in-frame at first, but I think the inclusion of the tower makes this a very strong photo. Additionally, you used the sunlight to your advantage to really light up the frame. Most of what determines whether a photo is accept...Jump to post
I took this in June and really liked the composition on it personally. Unfortunately, I fear it is too blurry to be accepted and I'm not familiar with an effective sharpening tool. I can only speculate since motive/interesting crop is probably the most subjective of the screening criteria, but my guess is that the screener decided the person was interesting enough to add to the AN225 picture while the area under the runway was insufficient in the 77WJump to post

I share your concern, this is the second biggest deterrent from international travel for me after the negative COVID test requirement. I think the most important thing to comfort is finding a mask (even if you have to modify the straps yourself) that go around your head and not your ears. My ears ar...Jump to post
