Discussed in the F9 and PHX threads but Frontier is adding daily PHX-BWI in November. Frontier's seventh destination from BWI and puts two passenger carriers back on the route (HP/US/AA left in 2019).
Wouldn't be surprised if the easbound was a redeye.

The flight history for DL8887 seems to indicate they flew Delta from IAD-DFW for their mid-July series. Looking back on it I don't see many breaks in their travel schedule that weren't covered by DL. Not sure what flight number they'd be using on AS so it's hard to search that way.

Happened 2 days ago but JetBlue returned to BWI for the first time since the pandemic started with 3x daily flights to Boston Logan with E190s. I generally check FlightAware for the day's flights. If you're looking in advance, a dummy booking is a better option.

I've wondered this myself. My latest long-haul departure was close to 11pm on DL's ATL-EZE A330 (about 10 hours) and we got a full dinner then a breakfast before landing, in main cabin. So I understand at a high level why Canadian IATA codes begin with Y, but I'm having a hard time finding information on why, for example, Toronto is YYZ or Montreal is YUL. Vancouver as YVR (formerly VR) makes sense.
