RE: A320 Pilots - Flap And Spoiler Operation

Thanks everyone. I see it is UP, 1, 2, 3, FULL. But for some reason the panel we have from flightdecksolutions is labelled 0 1 2 3 4. It's also flat rather than curved to follow the lever. Im building the mechanism as a lever though, so if they get round to rele...

OK, I've had quite a few delays in this project, namely with getting the thrust levers rebuilt. I've just come back to this topic now to confirm I have roughly the correct idea. If you could visualise a cross section, showing the gates, my drawing should hopefully be correct. Note I have not attempt...

A320 Pilots - Flap And Spoiler Operation

Hi, Just a quick couple of questions for anyone with experience flying the A320 (or other Airbus FBW aircraft) We're making an A320 simulator, and I'm designing the flap lever and spoiler mechanism. Firstly, Flaps - Am I right in thinking that the bottom part of the lever is pulled up and then the f...

New graphics card w/ at least 64MB memory on it - about £40 for a full kit. Not sure if you'd be able to get a new processor - If your motherboard will take higher speed CPUs, you would have to get one on Ebay as Intel don't make the P3s. I would recommend a new motherboard such as an AMD Athlon boa...

LCD is not quite so good.

The best thing to do is to buy a video projector........now that would be cool, project your FS screens onto your wall and then sit under the projector which is ceiling mounted and play FS!!!!!!

Hehe, I think I steal one from college now!

Change it yourself. Its set at a default of 15 degrees C in FS2002, I presume its the same in FS2000 but I cant remember (its soo old! LOL). 15C = 59F, and it probably displays 58 due to the small elevation from sea level.

New CPU (obviously)
New Case (unles you already have one with the P4 power connectors from the PSU)
New Motherboard
You dont need new memory or video card

Better off building one yourself or getting someone you know to build one.

And the reason why FS2002 always says 29.92 is because that is the pressure setting in the weather setup. Try changing it. ATC never tell you to change on FS2002. I sometimes find out the airfield elevation and subtract this from the altimeter. IE if the elevation of an airfield is 200ft AMSL, and I...

It can be to do with enabling the autopilot before your takeoff roll. Check that you havent done this, double check the trim on hold for runway. It does this (well at least to me anyway) if I set a VS or ALT setting, as we are at 0ft/min VS on the ground it will trim right back in an effort to get o...
