Anybody know whose 727s are also occupying the Corrosion Corner at MIA? I drove the length of the north side of MIA last night and don’t remember seeing any 727s. Were these by the Commercial Jet hangar? There definitely weren’t any airplanes where Corrosion Corner used to be. No, I don't think so....

No, I don't think so. That was OB-2158-P, and Samaritans bought it and is N873SJ. It is stored somewhere, no longer in GSO.

Any chances Amazon will add any flights any time soon? As I said in another thread, I have no idea who the Aloha Air Cargo flight is for, but it is 5 days per week and there are amazon trucks at the airport in that area of the cargo terminal (the only FedEx location at the general cargo terminal). ...

I am going to try and ride by INT this week. It looks like 12 United's were ferried in this week on top of the 8 or so that were there before. Between GSO and INT, I bet there are over 100 planes parked right now. Alaska is still ferrying some into GSO this week

I have not heard of anything at INT. On FlightAware, I've seen a decent number of United 737-700/800/900 and 757-200/300 come into INT in the past week. I road my bicycle over there last night from HP. INT is a bit harder to see from a distance due to how it is situated. I could see at least 4 757 ...

News report today indicated that there are 60+ American/Alaska 737, A319, A320, A321 aircraft currently parked at GSO at a cost of $6o per day. iAero are all parked on their ramp and falls into their lease agreement with GSO already.

Also noticed that Spirit is now running MCO-GSO-AVL and then AVL-GSO-MCO.

Fedex is running some oddball routes since the cargo ops have gotten weird. ILM/EWN/MYR have been happening sporadically as well as mainline and ATR service to CAE. Additionally flights to AFW and SDF on Fedex.

Additionally, they are looking to purchase another DC-8. They may have purchased the one from Peru last year (N873SJ). It was flown from GSO to VCV last year so it could be sitting around for parts or stored until they do something else with it.

So NK is dropping FLL and TPA in November. I knew this would happen as soon as RDU was announced. MCO does goes daily however but honestly look for NK to pull out of GSO completely in the future so they can "concentrate" on RDU. Same old story, different year and airline. Pretty much knew...

Looking at schedules a bit, I've noticed that New Bern and Wilmington now occur again but not daily. Myrtle Beach is now happenning a bit. I've also seen Albany, NY on larger aircraft.
