One more Sunwing B-737 is currently at YHM being prepared for return (C-GQWM - TUI Airways) - also C-FBDB (Pricess spec. c/s) present for work at KF. Air Transat B-737-800 OK-TVW just departed YHM for KEF on return to Smartwings/Travel Service. Yes, one month earlier than normal.

YTZ main runway is only 3,988 ft. /1,216 m. Porter flies from this runway nonstop to places like Chicago MDW and Myrtle Beach.

Last week two of Sunwing were ferried YHM - YMX and YYZ - YMX. One is left at YHM (Royalton). I'm wondering about YMX - not a very pleasant place for the winter. Expected something more warm and dry.. Sunwing has taken their MAX out of the schedule for the coming winter schedule.

At YHM they currently serve mainly WestJet and Sunwing. We used to see Icelandair on a regular basis (but this is currently

I was thinking for a while, that YXU should be a market for any of the new Canadian LCC's. Another door closed for Jetlines, Flair etc. Now only YOW remains open. Was hoping for YHM - YOW and YHM - YUL. YHM - YLW could work too.

Chances are slim. It must be very expensive for KF to keep these birds in the air for so long. I guess there is no longer a reason to keep the ex Solar Cargo DC-10 at YHM as a spares source. Expect scrapping soon.

We are happy about every aircraft not painted all white with some titles - CargoJet is perfect. They have just sold one of their remaining 727's (C-FCJV) to USA Jet Airlines and I expect them to end B-727-operations altogether very soon. Sad to see them go, but it's time to move forward with the 757...

At YHM it took KF Aerospace one full day to scrap a parted out B-727 and two full days for a DC-10 (engines and many parts removed)

Remember the Kingfisher aircraft in India. Many of these leased planes were missing parts and engines when the leasing company wanted to pick them up. I have another question: Do leasing companies do regular inspections of their property during an ongoing lease with an airline?

Any news in regard to Canada Jetlines? Their planned routes out of YHM are 100 % similar to SWOOP. If they don't get out and announce their final schedule very soon, people will simply book SWOOP and forget Jetlines (which is simply what WestJet (SWOOP) wants).
