Well, if you look closely, somebody with prior access to those computers ran some sort of Command line application (similar to DOS) and hid it at the bottom left of the screen...

Take a look at the "black box" at the bottom and you know what I mean

I'm assuming individual vent control are also a hassle because once all passenger starts closing it -- it becomes time consuming for cleaner personnel to start opening each and every vent on the ground for the next flight.

Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Using AOL? Oops then.

The only way (and I've tried, works) to connect to the internet is to run "Safe Mode With Networking", then ensure that your computer has a LAN card connected to a router+dsl modem combo, which in turn is connected to the internet

Visual tips to single out those "Windows" pesky popups: Color your Windows (98 and under) appearance and feel to, say, green. When you load your "green colored" browser, if some stupid popup comes up masquerading as a Windows function...close it. Hey, at least you know you colored your windows green...
