Correct but nothing has been filed in there timetable. Assuming they will run from July to Sep? Not July. Delivery until 26th July. Then a few days for maintenance and IFE fit. Then Chateauroux training for just crew. Then MAD and other Euro/Domestic runs. Likely late August to mid September. Damn,...

It goes to HND, AUS (winter only), MAD (BA460), HKG, GRU, SIN/SYD and on certain days PVG and BOM. DXB is a bit pointless - the 77W has crew bunks, it's better used on longer sectors that require a bunk. SFO is served by the A380 and B747, I have flown to SFO in the past on the 77W but the hi-J 747...

Cathay Pacific & Ethiopian Airlines considering to resume Pakistan flights

News from Pakistan Travel Mart:
Cathay Pacific is considering restarting flights to Karachi after an absence of 5 years since the 2014 Karachi airport attacks. Planned to resume Q3 2019

Also Ethiopian airlines and Kuwait airlines have an interest to return to Karachi.


Any thoughts?

Islamabad is on the list for BA according to my understanding.

They are awaiting for a hotel to be completed for the crew purposes.

I think it should start Bahrain, partner up with Gulf Air. Why, the Islamabad Airport isn't new enough now, all of a sudden?... According to my understanding, LHR has become the profitable route..

The airline is always oversold with there flights in and out of LHR. Makes sense for them to increase there flights from 7 - 10 weekly from the 02 June 2018. They have been using the 788, A350 and 77L into Heathrow too
