ATA started out as ambassadair over 30 years ago and evolved in to what is today ATA. It is still owned byy ATA holdings and is profitable as a travel club.

TMA will dedicate a 757 to ATA and operate the ambassadair flights.

Along with the new biz class will be the "Elite" flyer program. I believe it will start with the top 30,00 frequent flyers. These Elite passengers will be allowed to check-in the business class line as well as other perks. Training starts this week for station personnel on both programs.

I have to say that I've heard from a fairly reliable source that the pay issue has been resolved and that we will indeed be flying 767's by the end of the year. This source also stated that this is the reason that the used 757-200's we are getting is a smaller now is less.

Who really knows ...

ATA is no longer a charter airline. ATA is a major U.S. LCC that does some Military / charter work as well. I'm amazed at how many poeple still think of ATA from the 90's.

Your information might be correct about ATA ...if it were 1995!!

Military/ charter flying accounts for about 11% of ATA's revenue. Also with one of if not the lowest CASM in the industry ATA is not the weakest LCC.

TZTristar500 is correct, the aircraft are in general slated for sked growth. Used 757-300's are not in the works. Can't tell you my source but lets just say it's also " In the know".
