These stories are media proapaganda.

Years ago, there was an american pilot bashing Indian Air force, and one of the strangest things he said in my opinion was that he described Su-30 as having a slow roll rate.

I believe some 747 achieved 18 hours of average flight time per day. 737s I believe have flown up to 12. They would achieve even more if there was quicker handling on the ground and no waiting before takeoff

I would like to post a similar question, how many hours can pilots fly a day

I think having a diesel-electric propulsion is almost impossible on aircraft. You need a diesel, which is not light, than you need a generator and then you need a electric motor.

Even having diesel directly driving a prop, is way heavier than turbine engines.

There is a lot of back&forth betwen Airbus and Boeing in the twin widebody segment. First 787, then A350, lately revamped ibto A350XWB, 787-10, 777X, A330NEO and now possibly A350-1100.

I would like to see the same in narrowobdy twins, but I guess widebody market in more luxurious.

So I understand correctly every version of each plane (both A350 and 787) has different wing - unlike A320 family that has the same wing on every model - be it A318 or A321.

I also believe that both airplanes have excessive range capability
