I love flying into LGA. The views of Manhattan are something else (though it's a 50/50 shot you'll see it depending on how ATC is vectoring flights in that day and which side of the plane you're sitting on) and the short runways make for a fun landing.

Totally get the frustration when a window seat is yanked from you, the arrival into TLV is usually pretty cool too. We should be able to identify ourselves as aviation enthusiasts somehow so we get window seats and they aren't wasted on people who barely even glance out the window the whole flight....

Nice pictures. I'm looking forward to visiting that hotel myself. I wasn't aware that you can reserve a room for only part of the day. Having to pay extra to go on the roof, even when you're a guest at the hotel, seems a little absurd though.
