I do not use the GPS, as I have payware commercial aircraft with true to life instruments. But when I used the default aircraft, I made sure that the GPS gauge in the panel.cfg file was fs9gps!gps_500, which is the better of the two.

Try converting the RAW image again using the lowest sharpening settings (-2).

Then do the normal post processing. If the image already looks sharp at 3072 pixels, then most re-sizing will add jaggies.

I have the FSUIPC problem too. It says certain aircraft will not work then crashes to desktop. Fortunately I know which aircraft it is. Unfortunately it is the PMDG 737 series, so I restored my FS from backup for now.

I keep the flights down below one hour, not including FMC programming and taxiing, but just long enough to do a proper climb to FL250 and a reasonable descent. I use the PMDG 73G.

Avsim have separate sections for 02 and 04 files too. When you are searching or browsing, select either FS2004 Original Aircraft or FS2002 Aircraft Repaints sections.

Only had it once in 8500 photos - aperture had jammed on the lens I was using (only a cheapo zoom, fortunately). Nothing at all to do with the camera.

The Dreamfleet 737-400 does not work with '04. It is an FS2000 product upgraded to work with 2002. That is the closest you will get to a real 733. Even in the four short years that I have been taking photographs, many many airlines and colour schemes have disappeared for good, and some aircraft types are disappearing very fast too. Fortunately, I have kept all of my digital originals and slides. DVD storage is dirt cheap, so no excuses for me....

My main camera bags are a Samsonite 'Trekking' shoulder type, and a backpack one which is plain black and not a well known name. Great when you don't want to advertise the fact that you have a couple of grand's worth of kit in your bag.

They do not need an NG yet.

The Boeing 737NG programme added a glass cockpit and optional winglets - things that the A320, A330, A340 series already has.

Remember that with BreezeBrowser you can set it to show the active focus point on the image.

After a lot of trial and error, I am getting good results (10D) with single-shot focusing and auto focus points.
