Interesting. The lack of crews could be the chink in Amazon's armour. I wonder if this has anything to do with Fed ex dropping thier lift. With almost all of the Air Carriers hiring it has to be a hard row for cargo airlines to hoe. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

There is an AA flight the leaves PHX to LAX around 8 PM. It often is directed to an area near cargo and sits for clearance to LAX. I have taken this flight a few times and have seen it go from no wait to 50 Minute wait. But it always pushes from the gate on time.

And by that logic, if AA doesn't like the law in NYC, they should move their base. Simple. Or contract ground handling. It is in my opinion laws like this that cause companies go to outsourcing. That way they dont have to deal with it. They can’t outsource it and the law applies to the vendors also...

I just returned a $399.00 item to Amazon and if i brought it to UPS there was no charge. If I wanted UPS to pick it up it was a $7.97 charge. I never saw that before. I live close to several UPS stores so it is not a big deal.
