IMO TN could justify GRU for wealthy Brazilians to go to PPT. PPT could also make a good transit point to SYD & NRT, but only if there are enough aircraft to offer immediate connections frequently, both ways.

NRT was a large 747 NW hub. While I'm sure a flight may have been timetabled as MSP-NRT-MNL, it's quite possible for operational reasons on the day there was a plane change in NRT to another 747 arriving from ORD/JFK/SFO/LAX.

QF & JQ operate a lot like EK & the DXB Govt... Nobody is really sure where the line of separation is. For example, we know JQ's maintenance bills are paid from QF, so that's not really a completely separate entity.

Would QR be as much of a target in Pakistan as BA ? No target as DOH-Pakistan-DOH is an immediate turnaround whereas LON-Pakistan requires an overnight. Many years ago SQ crew had a high call in sick rate for SIN-BOM/DEL (demanding and condescending pax that strangely isn't prevalent on AI flights)...

I don't think 2nd & 3rd generation Serbians will rush to BEG every year. I'm reminded of the KLM decision to cease SYD flights- one important reason was their pax base of Dutch immigrants literally died off and their children weren't interested in going to Holland.
