I tried searching for this, but couldn't find anything.
In the plans for the new EWR Terminal A, PANYNJ intends to tear down the "banjo's" of the existing Terminal A, but not the head house. Why? What are the plans for it?

Jump to postAs a Seattle resident, I'm glad they are moving forward with this. If one reads the Port of Seattle meeting minutes, one can see that they have considered the possibility of a split FIS system, with a new one off the A concourse and a renovation of the existing. But that would create numerous proble...
Jump to postSEA is also still somewhat split - with certain flights still leaving and departing from the B Concourse and two United Clubs.
FInal consolidation won't happen until May of next year when UA will take over gates 6 through 14 on the A Concourse.
I've noticed this as well. I think the scent is in the blankets. That's where I most notice it. However, it wouldn't be hard to spray the scent on the seats and carpet before each flight.
Jump to postFrom my understanding, these seats are similar to the one's Cathay Pacific and USAirways are putting on their fleets, and on the A330 can fit four across.
