Re: Is the 747 completely gone from your home airport?

British Airways is the only one serving us with a 747 passenger these days. Wish LH would send the 748i. 747 is by far my favorite aircraft, remember when AF, IB, BA, Alitalia and LH all brought their 747 to MIA at a certain point. AR and Varig as well. Given MIA's history with other rare aircraft, ...

I don't hear anything. This one is a very odd one for sure. As for those saying something intentional, it won't be discounted, but the timing makes no sense IMO. There is nothing to point that direction at this point. And while it has happened in the past the NTSB will rule it out and I am sure give...

Rumors are the third person was a regional airline pilot jump seating.

It was cruising at 40,000ft doubt it had much heavy cargo on board.

Very odd 767s don't crash like this. The list of what it can be is really not that large for such a decent rate.

If there is the potential for money to be made, then someone else will do it. The biggest positive I can think of were larger seats in economy and more leg room. Service was a bit better too. It is still the best legroom in Y for U.S. airlines. It is a shame they started the basic economy next year. Still the best choice for domestic flying when talking about in flight Y experience.
