Delta has a lounge at FLL and I believe UA has one too or is going to have one in the near future. DL has had a lounge in FLL for a very long time! The lounge was also recently refurbished and is very nice. FLL is a sizable spoke in their network so nothing odd about them having a lounge there. The...

I just noticed AA has 6x daily 738 MIA-HAV. As the leading US airline to Cuba isn't it more economical to fly 2 or 3x B788 or B789 as the loads are high with everyone with a VISA escaping Cuba? Also with the crappy economy/markets of Cuba people have lots of checked luggage south-bound, with the B7...

2000 is about the year I started getting really into aviation (10/11 years old) so the early 2000s were the "golden era" for me as a kid. Though in the scheme of aviation 2001-2009 was a horrible year for airlines with 9/11, bankruptcies, virus in Asia, and a global recession. That being s...

Agreed with everyone here. The passenger 747 was well on its way to retirement already. Everyone expected the 747-400 to be gone from airlines fleets within the next 2-4 years regardless.
