Why not LGW though? LHR isn’t the beginning and end of flying in the UK. LGW is a very well connected airport, on the motorway and mainline trains run there all day and night. If I were travelling with Kids, I’d pick LGW.

BA crew have the option on every non-EU Sector of buying ‘crew purchase’ onboard. Either 4 miniature wines, OR 4 cans of bear, OR 6spirit miniatures, in addition to 6 cans of soda. There is no reason to believe they stole whatever alcohol they consumed.

It simply looks the like UD3R slide hatch has been switched with the UD2R slide hatch of another aircraft. If you look closely, the paintwork on the bottom of the Singapore "S" at UD2R is identical to the paintwork seen on the UD3R hatch in this photo.
