A330neo or the B787 would be perfect for this route. Well it would be better for them to wait.

and as SCQ83 said Turkish starting Iceland would make more sense. TK A321neo would be better than EK flying their B777 there.

Now this is a surprise route, A330 is too big for this.

I would say A321XLR is an aircraft which should be used for these kind of routes.

I hope Iraqi Airways takes the CS300, it can help them open more routes, Recently there has been an increase in tourists to the northern side. Many vloggers are going and it seems to be safe, so yeah CS300 would be a great addition for them.

They can buy 3rd hand planes but there has to be a number of years on them, I always tend to forget the exact details, but that's how Mahan Air Got their A343 and A346.

How long did retraining take for a 747 pilot → 777/787? Probably some online training and a handful of training sims, then maneuvers validation sim, and a LOFT sim. As Spicjet is taking so many ex 9W planes, they should name those planes as SpiceJet Airways. Instead of Red with White Dots, they should paint those planes Blue with Yellow dots, that would actually look great.
