Three weeks ago, in a move to decrease the negotiating power of the pilots union , Lan fired 75 of its chilean nationals pilots ( while hiring some foreign new ones). Today and as a result of the industry crisis they have confirmed 650 new layoffs acros the board .Check www.emol.com. (In spanish ).
