Re: Screener Process

Hello, I'm happy to find this post as I had the same question. Unfortunately the screenshot doesn't display anymore. Is it only my computer or the link is broken? I definitely agree with Harry that it would benefit everybody to explain further how each picture is screened and what is being looked fo...

Re: Ryanair receives 450th 737-800

Congratulations Ryanair. They transformed European aviation and made flying accessible to an entire continent. Yes, that's true. But some would also say that they have lower the overall quality of the airlines services. Nowadays, Lufthansa asks me to pay a fee for booking in advance my preferred se...

Re: Airliners.net Site Upgrade Announcement & Discussion

Dear, all comments below still apply. Moreover, I would like to inform that when my screening queue is full, I can't edit a photo in my queue or correct a photo that is already approved. In this case I receive the message: "You have reached the maximum number of photos you can upload. Please wa...

Re: Airliners.net Site Upgrade Announcement & Discussion

Hi John, thanks for feedback. That's exactly what I do but after a few second the system will automatically recheck the Follow button. I have the problem on all my computers, ipad and android phones. Therefore I report this here. Not a big deal but if it can be solved with time, this would improve t...

Re: Airliners.net Site Upgrade Announcement & Discussion

Hello, I would like again to request the possibility to delete rejected photos in order to focus only on those that still have a chance to be accepted. Moreover, it would be nice to have the possibility to click on a button to upload a new version so that the registration, location, caption etc woul...

Re: Airliners.net Site Upgrade Announcement & Discussion

Hello, It's really convenient to be able to delete photos in the queue as sometimes we upload two times the same or even the wrong file. However I would like to get the possibility to delete rejected photos too. Indeed, when an improved photo get finally approved, I would like to delete the previous...

Suggestion to Profile: Photo Log

Hello, When visiting my profile on the new website, I was thinking about a possible evolution to it. The idea would be to add a section to each profile that could be called "Photo Record" or even "Photo Log" as a wink to the pilots' "Flight log". This "Photo Log&qu...

Any chance here?

Dear all,

Do you think this picture (without the watermark) has any chance of approval?
If so, shall I select a specific category?

Image

Thank you in advance for feedback and opinion.

Kind regards,

Thank you for feedback and nice examples. I am more and more tempted now ;-)
Do you recommend a Central Polarizing CPL filter with that?

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens

Dear all,

I am considering the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR lens to capture inflight planes with my D5500 (DX/cropped sensor).
Does anyone has examples of mid to high level pictures with that lens? Any opinion would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Re: Opinion on "blurry"

I'm sorry if my intention was seen as criticizing as it was not the purpose.
But OK I've got my answer and also understand the "newsworthy event" aspect of the picture has priority.

Opinion on "blurry"

Dear all, I recently started to upload my pictures on a.net as I finally got a DSLR. Most of my pictures get rejected as blurry though. And then I saw this http://cdn-www.airliners.net/photos/airliners/3/1/2/3914213.jpg?v=v2b432394183 When I look carefully at this picture, I personally find it more ...
