The restrictions on carry on bags has been lifted, cameras and laptops will be x-rayed separately.

Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick prefer minimal carry on baggage for the time being though.

The first 4 days at Farnboro' are strictly trade only (ie: no students) Friday is a special enthusiasts day as well as trade £40 entry. Sat/Sun are the packed public days.

Most of the stuff there this time is the same as 2 years ago.

It's a weekly scheduled air ambulance service. The flights operate every weekend from Palma, Alicante and from Innsbruck 'Plaster Shuttles' in the winter from skiing accidents. The Med resorts send intensive care patients to a Hospital in Birmingham. Something to do with medical insurance contracts....

The cockpit shot is under-exposed as the camera is fooled by the bright window light. If they are not over exposed , then they have been brightened up too much. There is clearly no detail on the upper (sun lit) areas, you should be able to see the panel joins. The darker (shady) areas are very grainy. The 'haze' shouldn't affect quality much with shots taken this close. I fear it cou...

First 4 are over-exposed with loss of clarity. Look at the reg's and white areas.
Using some negative exposure compensation when bright and sunny should help.

The cockpit photo appears too dark! Fill in flash used?

In 'Bulb' mode the sensor is active and the static could attract more dust/debris during/after the cleaning process. The correct way to do it is with the Nikon EH-5 mains adaptor attached and select 'CCD Cleaning' from the menu.
