I understand that 3 aircraft will be left in the original livery as a tribute to the three original destinations. I'm not sure if the rest of the fleet has been repainted already, but chances are that a couple still remain in old scheme...

Exactly. It's not that they're gonna have the money in suitcases (or LD3's for that matter!), but rather that the money is available straight out. Probably a bank transfer, or a check. That's a lot of money to have available straight out though...

It's alright that they combine A330's and A340's... they have a lot of comonality after all... but found it funny the other day that they combined the orders for the A350 with the A340/A330. It's almost like boeing said something like... the combined 767/787 family which has sold over 1500 frames......

Jstplanes, when you talked about the Il-18 you say there were two possible candidates. Something that I've always wondered is if you have to pay the airlines to be able to shoot the videos? And is that one of the factors taken into account when you decide which airline to feature?
