Spent a couple of years operating on the A300-600. Nice planes, the A330 was clearly an upgrade but enjoyed them nonetheless….except for those bizarre lav layouts at the rear with the strange side aisles beyond the galleys and swing out crew seats.

Flew in from FAO last night on the EI497 and was absolutely amazed to see a large enough queue of people already waiting for EI checkin to open at 0215 this morning. The first flight from T2 was at 0505 but it was still a bit of a shock.
