Me too thought it was part of 160 aircraft deal, but its confusing as there is China airlines and Air China, one from mainland china and other from Taiwan. If it was frm the 160 aircraft deal then the chinese govt would decide the no's, so i guess this is from Taiwan, please correct me if i am wrong...

Just saw an ad for Saudi Arabian for £146 return they are using 777 and also advertishing F& J calsses. ad says they will operate twice weekly.

as far i know, Amiri flights are completely diff to normal QR staff, The pilots may change but i guess the F/A's are dedicated amiri divison.

Mite take them 100 yrs to decide whether to go with the plan or not and oh yes (100 diff/new govts in power as well).

Hope they get the infrastructure of Indian airports sorted first tahn the 100 aircrafts, they cannot even fill a 777 on direct US routes

Well Intially they went with no reverse thrusters at all, Airbus was confident that aircraft was safe and would stop with just brakes and flaps, but FAA and JAA both slammed that idea. So they decided to have only on inboard engines.

thx for the link, definately exlapins things, but my question is also how can they let a aircraft going frm hong kong to thailand and then dubai, sounds weird , but i guess it makes their $$$$.
