Re: PIT Update Discussion Thread - 2019

It still makes my head hurt that they are demolishing the A & B terminal ends after losing all of those gates for the new terminal. I regularly fly out or arrive at gate A-21 when flying WN. That gate will no longer exist. This is a growing airport where you are already eliminating gates for the...

The thing that I hate about it most is it looks like there is not enough spacing with the ramps to have I-376 widened to 4 lanes each way some day (more poor planning), and that they are only available to Port Authority vehicles. US Preclearance is a moronic waste of time and money and a pain-in-the-a$$ for passengers. I wish this virus could be stopped. Re: Second tier cities to get Transatlantic service

Why not a 767 from CMH, like IND has? IND-CDG with a DL 763 seems like overkill to me. PIT-CDG was state subsidized and now that's gone, and it looks like CVG-CDG is the only mainstay for a 2nd Tier Heartland city because it's a DL focus city. CMH I don't see happening either. I'm curious why PIT (an airport & city I've never stepped foot in) is getting all the hate here while many mid-small market airports across the US do the exact same thing. Here in DAB for example, B6 has gotten millions from the airport, city, county, and local businesses to maintain & star...
