We live very close to the airport, didnt hear anything though? Apparently the pilot was taken to hospital with serious injuries but unfortunately died in the early hours of this morning. All weekend Air Atlantique planes have been flying verrrry low all over this part of the city - noisy lol!

I've been trying to find a way of getting from Birmingham to Shanghai via Europe. So far ive only found flights via AMS and FRA. I dont mind KLM but Lufthansa long haul economy is awful in my opinion. I'd love to travel on an A340, don't SAS fly to Shanghai from CPH?

I like cabin crew who although are kind and friendly, remain quite discrete and proffesional, i.e. they aren't in ur face constantly. BA is great for this, Qantas less so.

Bad service is from crew who sling food at you, and really dont seem to care about their jobs, for example Alaska Air!

The 773ER has been the most expensive Boeing aircraft for over a year now, I remember reading the Prices in airliner world. As demand drops for airliners, manufacturers try to sell them off cheap. This is especially true for Boeing, as the market price of second hand 747's is very cheap right now.

I dont doubt that SIA will eventually order the 744QLR, it will replace some of their older 744. Launch customer of the 744QLR is Qantas r they not? United has quite a few 744 in the desert at the moment so i doubt they will be ordering them...
