I'm not sure what Brightline has to do with Silver's traffic. Southwest used to fly 3x daily PBI-MCO, 5x daily FLL-MCO AND FLL-TPA; and Air Tran had like 4x daily MIA-TPA. Most of the traffic from MCO south isn't as big as it used to be, outside of connections thru MIA or whatnot. Brightline is taki...

I'm wondering if its a combination of a few of the items here - I've been on a flight (departing Phoenix) where we rotated and just didn't leave the ground, the pilots lowered the nose a bit (it wasn't super noticable, felt like the days of 727s on takeoff) - gained a bit more speed and then lifted ...

Bids for Lanai, Hawai'i are out. Pacific Air Charter put in a bid using Tecnams to fly to Honolulu and Maui - at a cost of $8,115,418 / year - or $2,624 PER BLOCK HOUR (ouch!). Mokulele put in a modest bid of $3,970,286/year for Caravans, $0 for Tecnams (but a HUGE increase in fare), and $3,522,548 ...
