I actually think the A320neo is a much safer bet. Airbus can combine more A321neo and A321neoLR and A220 as part of the deal. Commonality. As a medallion I sure hope they go this way. 737 is the worst.

I know its a long shot, but a flight from HVN to ATL would do very well and being an A220-100, it should work off the 5600 foot runway. Boeing doesn't even have board approval to offer the 797. The max issues only slow that down. I would think someday they will operate this plane, but I wouldn't expect anything in the short term on the 797.

I don't know why they picked the ugliest plane in their fleet to display it on. That's my only question Yeah, the 319 would have looked so much better..... :roll: Even though you are being sarcastic, I totally agree with you. The 737 looks so weird with the stub nose and low sitting engines.

i really like their current livery. I think it's close to timeless. They don't need a new livery. They just need to get rid of the plum uniforms. Heck if they are looking for something to improve, my suggestion would be to shorten the time they take to get new movies.

I didn’t see precipitation today other than wind blowing it into the air. But my gut says they never got the runways cleared after the initial storm. Once it bonded and the temps dropped they were screwed.

Totally agree. But as somebody who experienced the storm and also experienced the meltdown today it was clear the airport didn’t do a good job at all. It was predicted to snow and it was predicted to ice. I wouldn’t imagine this storm in say msp having these problems.

I just left Boston after a 5 hour delay. Basically we got 6 inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday morning. We plowed the driveway late Saturday and salted. E175 is pretty good. But I’m pretty sure the a220 will take the cake. I’ll let you know after I try it. And yes there have been comments that seem to treat this as a bad news event for delta. It’s not.

Are you suggesting that a pilot with 6,000 hours wouldn't know the difference between what it feels like when his aircraft is climbing, vs. when it's pointed straight at the ground? If they're in clouds with no visual reference and instrument failure, how would anybody be able to tell up from down?...
