My hometown Stockton, CA tried a similar move a few years ago...to promote themselves. Stockton Bay Area Airport ( or something like that) ...it's a stretch to consider Stockton part of the Bay Area.

When US Airways took over the PSA routes in California they served meals on the short flights between Burbank and Oakland and other such routes. What a work out for the FAs.

Hotel Catedral is nice if you're looking for a place to stay in La Paz.

I spent 3 days in La Paz, BCS in December of 2019. I agree that Hotel Cathedral is great...out of the noise zone and a short walk to the malecón (bay walk).
We flew from TIJ to La Paz...a quick flight and very reasonable.

I was checking out Allegiant Service at SCK: often 2 daily flights to Las Vegas and twice weekly to Phoenix-Mesa.
I was wondering if they could begin a daily to LAX? I know that UAX was not able to sustain 2 daily flights but with Allegiant's structure I think they could make a go of it.

A few summers ago I spent a number of days in the Casco viejo, the historic part of Panamá City. Historic buildings were being restored and there was a large recreation area along the coast.

Back sometime in the mid 80s I flew on Alaska Burbank-Long Beach-San Francisco. It was a beautiful flight between Burbank and Long Beach. The plane flew at a low altitude with breathtaking views of the LA Basin.

I flew a Western DC-10 from LAX to Mexico City. Western was a regional airline serving western states and Hawaii and Mexico. They also provided champaign service to Hawaii from smaller airports like Sacramento. They created a hub and spoke operation in Salt Lake City, UT.

The large airlines like AA and US did not know how to operate the California network. I was a loyal PSA flyer and recall when US took over. The spirit of the PSA (fun and informal) experience was lost. The FAs tried serving meals on the short California flights. That ended quickly. It was a shame to...

When I visited El Salvador I found the international airport very far from San Salvador. It was about a good 40 minute ride from the city.

From what I understand Interjet is not using the majority of their SSJ fleet because they cannot acquire the necessary parts to keep the fleet running. Interjet was conceived as an alternative to the high priced Aeromexico and the low end charge for everything Volaris. Viva has made a great comeback...

UA had the Central Valley of California daily milk run> San Francisco-Stockton-Modesto-Fresno-Los Angeles and the return. For a while there was night, SFO-MOD-SCK flight. I took this once.

Central Valley towns need another model for air service. Fares are too high. I don't see why Allegiant doesn't run a daily to LAX.

They have removed the change fees, so you change your dates without extra charges. Their phone lines are saturated so calling does not see...

It was located in the Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory complex. There was an addition with big bay windows. It later became a Mexican and then a clown themed restaurant.

Interjet of Mexico bought the SJ100 for their smaller markets. The performance was positive for them but part replacement was a nightmare. They have since pulled these jets from service.
