RE: Brief Note On The "Overcomputerized" A320

Thanks for that point.

I guess I can see how that would be good. I though that if you move the yoke with the auto pilot on you would just be increasing the auto pilot input and when you let go the autopilot would still be on.

A long haul on an airbus the pilots arent alway looking out the window.

Its just a convenience to the pilots that I dont think looks that hard to incorporate

What they need to do is to do what boeing does on there 777 When the computer or auto pilot makes a turn or climb. The yoke moves. If the pilot wants to adjust. All he has to do is hold the yoke. move it a little more or a little less. He or she doesn't even have to watch what the plane is doing. Al...

The 747 has its own disinct look that you can even tell its a 747 from on the ground when its at 40 thousand feet. Personaly though i dont really think t...

Kind of a spin off on the topic "Opinions on the 757" I've never flown on a 747 but i've seen and heard one takeoff and land at O'hare and it was the most exilerating (probly spelled that wrong) experiance ive ever gotten from a plane. United only started using 777 instead of 747 on some routes is because there is not the demand. I would love to see a 777 try to go from chicago to hong kong. They do that so that they dont have to train pilots as much since the a330 and 40 have the same cockpit (in general)

Is United Changing All Their 747 Routes To 777

I've noticed alot of posts about United changing such and such a route from 747 service to the 777. Are people really not flying them as much that they switch to a 777 which only holds about 50 or 60 less I think. The CRJ is supposed to be the quietest.

I dont know if that is inside or outside the plane. It is pretty quiet outside.

Are there any high-bypass engines smaller than the CRJ's. I think that is why it is so quiet.
