Southend airport holds a special place for me, took my first flight from there back in 1967, Channel Airways, Viscount. Both flights had excellent take off rates of climb. Tour around the Monarch hanger was excellent, the staff were very accommodating, allowing us an in depth mooch around the facility and an educational look inside the A330 which has returned from the hajj.
Looking forward to another trip
