In other news, Frontier yanked MBJ for this upcoming summer. Sad, but understandable given the loads were awful both summers. It’s probably too much plane but maybe better for a Breeze A220?

Where will the Max8's be used for first any routes released? I just saw today that there's at least one flying around the network. It flew between SAN & TPA & IAD just in the last few days. It doesn't seem to be on any specific routes at this time. N801AK flew SAN-SEA this morning as #1154....

As a quick way to boost revenue in March and April, Spirit just loaded in the following:
BNA 4x weekly
MKE 4x weekly
MCI 3x weekly
MEM 3x weekly

All of those except MEM have been served before.

This reminds me of the mid 2010s when they used to regularly have announcements with 40-50+ markets. Yeah most didn’t stick but many still fly.

With their new base strategy, it will be interesting to see if there’s more of a willingness to offer more consistency in their schedules.
