Why is everyone engaging pylon101 in this discussion? The guy is obviously so biased that all other explanation other than the UAF is at fault is preposterous to him.

Ignore him.

RE: Putin Ups The Stakes: Seeks Military Intervention (3)

Putin is a bully in the same category as Hitler. And this looks awfully similar to the late 1930's with land grabs here and there. Bullies need to be taken down and if anything, history should have taught us that its better (and cheaper in every way) to do it sooner rather than later. The US and EU ...

Thanks oly720man.

OK. I'll chalk this one up as unavailability for ground handling crew for the long turnaround time of the aircraft.

How Long To Turn Around An SK A343?

My first topic on the forum so I hope you'll cut me some slack. I was heading home to OSL from BKK via CPH on Sunday 01 Aug on SK972 and the flight was delayed by about five hours. The incoming flight from CPH SK973 was apparently 6 1/2 hours late. Should have landed in BKK at 14:45 local time, but ...

RE: The An-140-100 Aircraft

Apart from the crash near Baku, at least one other An-140 crashed. This happened in Iran in December 2002 IIRC. Also, there seems to be a joint venture of some sort between Antonov and Iran. Apparently An-140 aircraft will be assembled in Iran for the local market. I didn't know that there's a large...

GrinddalSK340:

I think the incident you are refering to may have happened in Bergen a few years back and IIRC it involved one of the Norwegian Air Force VIP transport jets and a truck. I think there may be a picture of that incident in the database somewhere.

SAS 737-700 Ground Collision W/ Truck

An SAS 737-700 collided with a catering truck while it was being towed from a maintenance hangar at Stavanger airport in Norway this afternoon. The aircraft had apparently completed a routine inspection and was not in service. It was only scheduled for a test flight this evening so this mishap won't...

More details (from media) Some pax reported that the aircraft landed mid-runway and that the craft "slid until the very end of the runway". It apparently came to a stop slightly diagonally to the runway. Emergency vehicles including fire trucks arrived on the spot within 2 minutes. Seems that the pa...

I see some people on this thread advocating some sort of withdrawl timetable the argument being that its now up to the Iraqis to fend for themselves. Yes, I'm sure Zarquawi and his bunch would just love that. HELLOOOOO?!?!?! Reality check please! GWB started this mess, and like it or not the US will...
