I agree with much of what has been said. The zoom is great. I have a B-300, so it gives me 37-630mm. The biggest problem I see is the long lag times between shots. When your card gets full, it is painful to sit there and watch all the shots pass you by after you've taken the first one. I don't reall...

The B-300 just attaches to the end of your lens - you'll probably need a step-up or step-down ring (b-300 is 55mm) and it works with the autofocus in the camera. You have to open them in a graphics program like photoshop and decrease the # of colors, etc. I'm not sure how small it has to be. I think smaller than 4 or 5 kb.
