I agree with much of what has been said. The zoom is great. I have a B-300, so it gives me 37-630mm. The biggest problem I see is the long lag times between shots. When your card gets full, it is painful to sit there and watch all the shots pass you by after you've taken the first one. I don't reall...Jump to post
That f'in blows. I hate those guys anyway, now I just have more of a reason. I'm not surprised in the least that this kind of thing happens. They have all these fans kissing their ass then basically tell them "go fuck yourselves" when they promise something in return. Sure, those no-talent cocksucke...Jump to post

Be careful all around EWR - even in IKEA. I've been asked to leave from there. If the winds are strong enough from the NW, there is a chance they'll use Rwy 29 for landings and departures. But the winds have to be very strong for this to happen. In that case if you're in the Virgin cargo lot, the pl...Jump to post

Dan, I also have the Pro90, but I haven't noticed anything like that. I'd say first contact Canon, tell them about the problem and see what they can do - since they are the ones who have the warranty. Pbase won't be around much longer (for free at least) <img src="/discussions/graphics/frown.g...Jump to post
The B-300 just attaches to the end of your lens - you'll probably need a step-up or step-down ring (b-300 is 55mm) and it works with the autofocus in the camera. You'll need to keep it close to max zoom to prevent vignetting. I haven't seen noticeable focus lag with the Pro90 (it actually seems to b...Jump to post

Here's what I think. I could be wrong. The problems in this particular shot are probably not caused by the camera. You're shooting into the sun. The Virgin 340 and BMI 737 look properly exposed. The Virgin 747 is a little overexposed and the sky is completely blown out. It looks like the haze distri...Jump to post
I found another link dealing with sharpening a while ago. It suggests using the "custom" filter to blur and sharpen at the same time. It's kind of confusing though. I don't think it will make it. Colors look off (dull), a little blurry and not a very flattering angle. You'll probably find out in a couple of hours anyway. A US A321 at DEN won't qualify as "rare" either - even though there are none in the db. As Aer Lingus said, you have a better chance of gettin...Jump to post

Mike, I've seen Southeast a couple of times at EWR. They had early morning flights. I'm not sure if they're a regular visitor, though. The tower didn't know, either. ILS, you're wrong. Since it is recessive, if your mom has one chromosome with the colorblindness gene and one without the colorblindness gene she will not be colorblind. If her son inherits the colorblindness gene, he WILL be colorblind. If he doesn't, he won't. So even if a mom is not colorblind, h...Jump to post
