U.S. Carriers To Jakarta And KUL

As best I can tell, the original PA is the only U.S. carrier to have scheduled service to Jakarta. Additionally, no U.S. carrier has ever served Kuala Lumpur? Can anyone confirm? Some of the old PA timetables list a Jakarta flight 811/812 on a 707...but it appears as though those ended in the '70s. ...

I'm surprised there hasn't been a topic started on this. Doing a current scrub of the airlinerlist.com 747 list, it appears as though only 22 of the delivered 42 UA744s are left in service. Scarcely more than 50%. It appears as though they've completed the concentration in <acronym title="San Franci...

Turns out this seems to be an online check-in issue. For my return segment, I resisted on-line check-in and just arrived at the airport 2:30 before the flight. I have to purchase the tickets through the travel agency, which negates that option. Besides, I believe the "instant upgrade" is only for US domestic flights--I don't believe it's available for US-Asia, however, cannot confirm that.
