My experience with KE has been that their IT infrastructure is ... slow, at best. They recently overhauled their app and website and I hope it means they redid the backend too but its really no wonder it costs so much to integrate all this. It will be interesting to see the integration roadmap, we ...

The Star Alliance lounge at LAX TBIT is the best lounge I've used in the US. I believe it's run by Air New Zealand.
Excellent buffet spread and outdoor patio with runway views.

United Club at BOS has some decent runway views, too. Friendly staff but very basic food/snacks.

The biggest concern I have is the antitrust impact the KE/OZ merger would have on the KE/DL relationship. Remember the US (amongst other parties) has yet to approve KE/OZ. Outside of KE/DL the only other TPAC flights if the merger goes through would be a AA flight to DFW (daily prepandemic I think)...

I've flown on DL multiple times in 2009 and 2010 and never had any issues, and never expected any issues either. I don't recall DL having a particularly negative image back then. However, back in 2010, there were still many long haul aircraft without PTVs in Y (744, 763) and the 744s and 330s had an...

The issue here isn’t that “consumers” - as a whole - have to compromise.
