They are actually hiring more MNL based Flight Attendants. ICN-MNL will either be served on the A350, A330NEO, or B777.

I believe they are keeping the MNL FA base for MNL-ICN though...so it's not quite laying off ALL "Asia-based Flight attendants"[/quote]

It may be a small number but I believe of the domestic 757-200s (non-charter) only the 75H and 75G are ETOPS -- 21 frames. Yup and the A321NEO's will be replacing them on west coast-Hawaii routes. Or DL drops MNL completely and starts SEA-SIN on the A350 or SEA-KIX-SIN on the 767/339. There is a LARGE US corporate presence in Singapore as its the SE Asia HQ of many multinationals especially finance. Sure but Delta's A350s will have range issues doing that flight. If only they had 787s on ord...

Well that'll put DL up to 80 peak day flights. Slowly getting to the 100 flights a day they want. If RDU keeps growing i'd see further expansion. Maybe SAN and more non-stops to SLC/SEA.

According to an internal release DL currently has 10 A220's on the production line. First one should be in DL Livery Mid-September. First delivery expected end of October. First Pilot training class starts September 7, 2018.

The only time i've known it to be required for window shades to be up for taxi, takeoff, and landing is on smaller regional jets with no viewing windows on the doors. For example on the CRJ's. From the video and ATC communications it appears the tower cleared a van to cross runway 14 as an Envoy ERJ145 was rolling down the runway for takeoff. I wonder if we will ever see DL reach 100 flights at RDU. Thats always been the goal. I think growth has been slowed due to the A220 entry into service delays. It hasn't freed up as many RJ's as had been planned. The A220 will definitely make appearances in RDU at some point, but expect to see more...

After the pressure equalized, the cabin crew should have gone through and assisted passengers who were having difficulty with the oxygen mask. Thats just not how it works. ...
