Re: Nile Air unveils special themed color scheme

The article quoted claims that Nile Air is Egypt's leading airline. This is definitely not the case. EgyptAir, the state-owned national airline, is the country's leading airline. NP, which started operations a few years ago, is one of a number of private airlines to have emerged on the scene. Indee...

Orange is nice! The biggest mistake that many airlines make is to use a blue-red branding. Except for British Airways, that is often a very boring and old-fashioned color combination.

There was nothing wrong with the previous livery though the new one looks very catchy. I agree here with Miami and BlueShamu330s. The word that pops up in my mind is "distinction". Nice easyJet!

EK413: looks good but a little design adjustment, though leaving the tail and engine striping like they are, this livery lasts for very long.

RE: New Livery For Nepal Airlines

I agree here with 777way. The previous livery is somewhat boring like Lufthansa though fashionwise very sustainable. A little re-styling on that design would not have harmed the airline. The new livery looks interesting but the engine livery layout is a true misser.

RE: Transavia To Unveil New Livery On 26th Jan

As a professional designer in airline branding and aircraft liveries I find the new Transavia brand look is a devaluation. When an airline wants to be a low cost carrier it doesn't mean it has to look cheap. It's okay to reduce the number of colours (however the belly of the plane got a hotchpotch o...
