Most likely February. Shaq will be first to come back (maybe out only one more week), then Kobe will come back hopefully before the All-Star Break, since he has been voted one of the starting five. Karl Malone's injury seems the most serious so that might take a while longer.

Snacking dillemma:
Cut up some raw veggies and keep them in the fridge (i.e., baby carrots, celery, cucumbers, etc.). Have some low-fat ranch dip or something similiar for dipping. I find this much healthier and more refreshing than going for the heavy-duty stuff you mentioned.
