I don't have a flight number but I'm arriving from <acronym title="Santa Ana - John Wayne / Orange County (SNA / KSNA), USA - California">SNA</acronym> at 8:10am and then off to <acronym title="Puerto Vallarta - Licenciado Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International (PVR / MMPR), Mexico">PVR</acronym> around 9...
Jump to postHi there, nervous flyer here. I am flying to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on America West from Phoenix on 4/19 and am freaking out. I've read on the SOAR website that America West has it's fleet maintenance contracted to the countries of El Salvador and Canada? Can anyone confirm this? I also have concer...
Jump to postMatt,
Lunch sounds good... maybe Superfly could join us and we could heckle him about why he's such a lefty!
Wouldn't that be fun! I'm always up for some spirited debate!
Hey Aero...
El Dorado High huh? I went to Kennedy in La Palma (graduated 86). Our schools played each other in sports and I believe they still do.
Placentia is a great town. North Orange County is a super place to live.
It is indeed a small world!
Howdy Matt, I’m here, probably the only female on this board in So Cal and I’ve lived here my whole life. I rarely post but I sure enjoy reading everyone else’s! I was especially impressed with your story and photo of your Christmas tree. Way to go! Anyways, I was born and raised in La Palma. I’ve a...
Jump to postYou can't count out what KG and Sprewell have done in the last few games...I don't think it's going to be so easy for the Lakers. So, as a die-hard Lakers fan I pick Lakers in 6.
My husband and I planned a 9–day trip to Maui, a first time to Hawaii for both of us to spend out 6 year anniversary. We decided to take United due to my Husband’s Premier Executive status and the fact that they have a direct flight from <acronym title="Los Angeles - International (LAX / KLAX), USA...
Jump to postThat is disgusting. I agree, the place should be condemned and the owner placed in therapy for pack-rat "itis"... (I'm sure there is some clinical name for it).
Jump to postMost likely February. Shaq will be first to come back (maybe out only one more week), then Kobe will come back hopefully before the All-Star Break, since he has been voted one of the starting five. Karl Malone's injury seems the most serious so that might take a while longer.
Now y'all know where I got my user name from...LUV THE SOPRANOS! There are a few things that I would like to see get resolved... 1. Is the rape of Dr. Melfi ever going to come out? 2. Ditto on the Pine Barrens episode (one of my favorites)... what happened to the Russian guy? As far as predictions o...
Jump to postSo sorry to hear about your little Billy. I hope that he is comfortable and that your vet can treat him so that he can maintain some level of normalcy for many years to come. I myself have a small dog (Shih Tzu) who has been my best friend since she was given to me as a Christmas gift back in 1992. ...
Jump to postNo kidding Matt, I was wondering the same thing myself. I live in Placentia and around 9:00pm last night is started pouring like crazy. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me until I opened my front door and actually saw everything getting soaked. Then afterwards, all that lightening and thunder...
Jump to postBilly Idol, Long Beach Convention Center, March 1984. It was his "Rebel Yell" tour. I was 15 years old. I saw him in 2001 twice, first at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and again in November of the same year at House of Blues in Anaheim. I guess you could say I'm a huge fan. Billy's still got it, he soun...
Jump to postRenting: Just switched over to Netflix about 2 months ago. It's been a great experience, I recommend it to everyone. Blockbuster was too much of an inconvenience, and yes, I was guilty of having late fees quite often... Purchasing: First choice is Amazon. Second is Frys Electronics, although their c...
Jump to postThis past weekend I was in Medford, Oregon (of all places) and went to a restaurant called The Roadhouse Grill. Friends that live in Medford told me I had to try their "Roadhouse Koolaid". It was a little on the sweet side but quite enjoyable, especially in the 100 degree heat! Here it is: 1 oz melo...
Jump to postYes - it does work! I was in Germany a year and a half ago and I live on the West Coast (U.S.A.) The 11 hour flight along with the 9 hour time change did me in, and I couldn't sleep for the first two nights. I purchased some prior to leaving and one night after being wide awake until 2:30 a.m., I fi...
Jump to postHello, I'm a frequent "peeker" at these boards and came across this website while doing a search for fearful flying. While I can pretty much handle getting on a jet, I am flying from <acronym title="San Francisco - International (SFO / KSFO), USA - California">SFO</acronym> to Medford, <acronym titl...
Jump to postI hate to admit it, but I agree. The Lakers just don't have it this year and I'll be surprised if they win even one game against the Spurs. You can feel it here in the L.A. area, us Laker fans are disappointed (we're not used to them losing in the playoffs obviously) and the Laker car flags around t...
Jump to postI have a 10 year old Shih Tzu named Tessy. As goingboeing put it, my dog also has "a lot of puppy left in her". She has quite a personality. I've had her since she was 7 weeks old. She was my dog until I got married 5 years ago, now she barely gives me the time of day. My hubby taught her all kinds ...
Jump to postSnacking dillemma:
Cut up some raw veggies and keep them in the fridge (i.e., baby carrots, celery, cucumbers, etc.). Have some low-fat ranch dip or something similiar for dipping. I find this much healthier and more refreshing than going for the heavy-duty stuff you mentioned.
Good luck!
Very interesting...
25th April 2003 is also the day I will celebrate my 5th wedding anniversary.
Great question... I am a huge Laker fan and I do believe they can win number 4 as long as they can get past the Spurs. Dallas I'm not too worried about and the Kings can kiss my ass. I worried about the Kings way too much last year during the Western Conference finals and the Lakers did it on their ...

This same thing happened to me at work a few months ago, but while I was in the middle of eating. Normally, she just brings her tortillas and...
Jump to postThis morning here in Southern California we had an earthquake. It was a 5.4 on the Richter Scale, it struck at 4:19am and was centered about 4 miles north of Big Bear. Jump to postHaven't had one in years but way to rich and sweet from what I remember... probably dumped out about 75% of the inner cream and ate the outside chocolate.
It frightens me to think of what the actual ingredients are... probably a lot of artificial crap.
TBAR220, your comment is right on. Calling Kobe a "ball hog" is a bit ridiculous.
KausPilot - you are also right on about the Spurs. They are a definite contender this year. They have been playing awesome recently and you can never count them out either.
Hello fellow basketball fans, As a devoted Laker fan (I never miss a game), I just wanted to say that Kobe is playing off the hook, out of his mind basketball and the double overtime thriller last night against Houston was amazing. Now that Shaq is out with his banged up knee and infamous toe proble...

I hope Mavericks kick the Kings ass. As a total die-hard Laker fan, I can't stand the Kings and if anyone is going to dethrone my Lakers (which I must admit could definitely happen this year), I'd much rather it be the Mav's than the whining Kings. My reasons: Dirk Nowitski (a fellow German) and Ste...

Jump to postIndeed, a fabulous episode that was long overdue for this somewhat dragging season, in my opinion!
