Normality was overrated and the new norm has a lot of perks. For jobs where it makes sense let’s only have people at the office in shifts maybe 2-3 times a week and otherwise work from home. Less traffic and pollution, less strain on public transportation, is great.

It’s part of why I find the 787 so ugly. Interestingly and conversely, the tall, gangly nosegear of the 777 is something I find very ugly, and the one thing that spoils the beauty of the aircraft. The 787 is really the only one that has that low sitting appearance - the a350 looks very tall. It’s part of why I find the 787 so ugly.

I flew to HKT airport in Phuket in my swim suit and flip flops and walked straight to the beach at the end of the runway to watch all kinds of heavies land SXM style. What a delight!
